These terms cover your use of agently.bot and The Greenville AI Brief. They do not cover client engagements. Paid work is governed by the written agreement we sign with each client.
Agreement
By using this site or subscribing to the Brief, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What the site and the Brief are
agently.bot and The Greenville AI Brief share general information about using AI tools in a business. They are educational. They are not legal, financial, tax, security or other professional advice for your situation.
No professional relationship
Reading the site, subscribing to the Brief, or sending us a message does not make you a client and does not create any duty from us to you. A client relationship starts only when we both sign a written agreement.
Using AI tools is your decision
The Brief shows how AI tools can be used. Those tools belong to other companies, change often, can produce wrong answers, and have their own terms and privacy policies. Before you put business, customer or employee information into any AI tool, check that tool's terms and decide whether it is right for your data. Check anything an AI tool produces before you rely on it.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to break the law, send spam, try to get into systems you are not allowed into, interfere with how the site runs, or collect other people's information.
Content and ownership
We own the writing, design and other content on the site and in the Brief. You may read it, share links to it, and forward an issue of the Brief to someone who might find it useful. Please do not republish it in full or present it as your own without asking.
The Agently name and logo are ours. The names of other companies and products mentioned belong to their owners, and a mention does not mean they endorse us.
What you send us
When you send us a message, you are responsible for what is in it. Please do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information through the contact form.
Links to other sites
The site and the Brief link to other companies' sites and tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.
No warranty
The site and the Brief are provided as they are. We try to be accurate, but we do not promise that everything is complete, current or free of errors, or that any tip will work for your business.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or the Brief, and our total liability for any claim about the site or the Brief is limited to one hundred dollars ($100).
Indemnity
If you misuse the site and a claim is brought against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Greenville County, South Carolina.
Other terms
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are the whole agreement between us about the site and the Brief. We may update them and will change the date at the top when we do.
